Product details

The Pentair Clean & Clear Plus 320 is a four cartridge filter for inground pools, model EC-160340. Its 320 sq ft of filter area comes from four elements rather than one, which means more surface to trap dirt and longer stretches between cleanings.

Fine filtration

The cartridge elements strip particles down to about 20 microns. An average grain of beach sand is around 1,000 microns, so the filter is catching debris far below what the eye can pick out in the water.

Cleaning

There is no backwash. Open the top, lift the cartridges out, hose them down and put them back. No water goes to waste and no backwash line is needed at the pad.

In the box

The filter ships complete with its cartridges, a pressure gauge, a union kit and an air relief valve, so it is ready to plumb in.
