Coverstar A1252 is the reusable inclined coping form kit 403, supplied for a 20 foot by 40 foot pool.
What coping does
Coping is the finished edge that caps the concrete at the top of the pool. It gives the perimeter a smooth surface to sit and walk on, and it keeps water from working in behind the shell and the walls. On an outdoor pool it is also the line the eye follows, so the quality of the pour shows.
Reusable forms
These forms hold the inclined coping profile while the concrete goes in, then strip away and go on the next job. A builder buys the kit once and runs it across many pools, which is a different economic proposition from a consumable form.
