Product details

The Sta-Rite 25023-0160S is the genuine 60 sq ft DE filter module for the System 3 S7MD60 modular DE filter. The System 3 uses a single module in place of the usual set of separate grids, so this one part replaces the entire filtering element.

When to replace it

DE showing up back in the pool, pressure that rises fast after a fresh charge, or tears, cracks or a collapsed section on inspection all mean the module is done. Cleaning will not recover a torn module.

Fitting

Drain the tank, remove the old module, check the tank o-ring and seat the new module. Reassemble, restart the pump and add the DE charge for the S7MD60 through the skimmer.
