The Cover Valet CV400 is a hydraulic spa cover lifter built for larger spas. It takes the weight out of the job that otherwise turns a soak into a two person chore.
How it works
Two gas springs carry the cover as it swings back, so the cover moves with a light push instead of a heave. A locking safety feature then holds it open until you are ready to close the spa again, which keeps a heavy waterlogged cover from falling back on its own.
Where it fits
It is designed for awkward backyard installations: inside a gazebo, tight against a wall, or bolted into an existing deck. The frame is powder coated and the hardware is stainless steel, and Cover Valet backs it with a 5 year warranty.
Check the size first
The manufacturer data for this model is not consistent about spa size. The stated size requirement is 93" to 99", while the model is described in places as being for spas over 96" and in others as spas over 90". Measure the cabinet of your spa across the side the lifter mounts on and compare it against the 93" to 99" figure before you order.
