Product details

The Len Gordon 2-05-0047 is the 2 inch split union nut used on pump plumbing. It is the same part that carries the Allied Innovations name, and it is also listed under the numbers 2050047 and 0121109020.

What it does

The nut is what holds a union together. It threads over the union half and pulls the joint up tight against its seal so the pump can be unbolted later without cutting pipe. When the nut splits, the joint weeps or blows apart under pressure, and no amount of tightening will bring it back.
