Product details

The Solaxx CLGE40-2 is the replacement power supply and control box for the E-Series 40K salt water chlorine generator. It is the wall mounted unit that powers the salt cell and runs the system, and it is the part to order when the original box has failed, will not drive the cell, or has been damaged.

What is included

The power supply control box only. The salt cell, the cell housing and the barrel nut and union kit are separate parts, so a complete system rebuild takes this box plus the E-Series 40K cell.

Before you order

Match the E-Series and 40K markings on your existing control box. The 40K rating covers pools up to 40,000 gallons.

Does this include the salt cell?
No. This is the power supply and control box only. The E-Series 40K cell, the cell housing and the union kit are sold separately.
Which system is this for?
The Solaxx E-Series 40K salt water chlorine generator. Check the label on your existing control box for E-Series and 40K before ordering.
Will it work with the 40K replacement cell?
Yes. It is the matching power supply for the E-Series 40K cell.
When does a power supply need replacing?
When the box will not power up, will not drive the cell even though the cell and connections check out, or has been damaged by water or a surge. If the cell is old as well, replacing both at once gets the system back to full output.
