Orenda CE-Clarifier is a chitosan based clarifier supplied in a one gallon bottle, intended for swimming pools and for fountains. Orenda blends its commercial grade CV-600 enzyme into the same bottle.
Chitosan, and the enzyme alongside it
Most clarifiers work on one thing: gathering the fine particles that make water look cloudy so the filter can catch them. This one carries the enzyme in the same product, so it also works on the non living organics that build up in pool water and around the waterline.
Using it
The liquid is a pale yellow to light amber, which is normal for the product. Dose against the manufacturer instructions on the label for your pool volume, and give the filter time to do its part once the clarifier has been added.
