Product details

Deck-O-Seal 4702033 is a 96 oz kit of two component, polysulfide based sealing compound in tan, in the gun grade non-sag formula.

Where it is used

It seals cracks and joints around the swimming pool, the places where the deck meets the coping, where slabs meet each other, and anywhere movement has opened a gap that needs to stay sealed. It is rated for interior and exterior work.

Why non-sag matters

A gun grade, non-sag sealant holds its shape once it is placed. That is what makes it the right choice for a vertical joint or an uneven one, where a self leveling product would simply run out. It is also approved for submerged applications.

Mixing

This is a two component product, so the two parts are combined before use. Follow the manufacturer mixing ratio and pot life, and prepare and clean the joint properly first, because sealant adhesion is decided by the surface it goes onto.

What is the difference between gun grade and self leveling?
Gun grade is non-sag: it holds its shape in the joint, so it can be used on vertical surfaces and in joints that are not flat. A self leveling sealant flows out to a smooth surface and only suits horizontal joints.

It is rated for submerged applications as well as interior, exterior and vertical work.
